Welcome to JR's Illustrations!!
My name is Jessica Rodgers and you are about to view some of my latest illustrations, but here is a little information about me and my site!

I have been interested in being an illustrator for as long as I can remember. So, when it came time to pick a career path I chose fashion design. I was hoping this choice would lead me into a career of fashion illustration or any type of illustration!

After I graduated from Drexel University in 2003, I started working as an assistant designer for a Philadelphia based maternity clothing company, Motherswork Inc. In addition to being promoted to a junior designer, I have illustrated most of the hangtags for their nursing wear line.

I have also kept myself busy with a children's book illustration course at University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and with several portraits and projects for wedding table numbers that I was hired to do.

Most recently one of my coworkers noticed some of my work and asked if I would draw his house. I happily accepted the job, and after his house was finished, a friend of his wanted an illustration of his house as well!

A cycle of requests for different illustrations has since followed and here we are! I decided I needed a site for people to view my work so that anyone can request my illustrations.

As you will see I work mainly with pencils, and I am able to draw anything from a picture or my imagination. I am Happy to draw just about anything in just about any genre and size!! If you would like to request an illustration all you have to do is go to the Info page and write me an e-mail describing the type of illustration you want. Once the type of illustration is selected I will be able to discuss my rates and any pictures that I might need to get started.

My site will always have new illustrations so please come back often. Oh, and I also make some of my own designs so don't be surprised to see those on my site as well!! Don't forget to tell your family and friends about me!! Thanks for coming!
